Because we've been around and you haven't, obviously. Telling someone you live full time in an RV park the first thing they think is you're one step from being homeless, Which most of them are. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Its illogical and sad but the detractions I am attracting from Shrek and EB regarding my move to the RV life is due to politics. Yes politics even though the move has nothing to do with politics. Plenty of people across all political spectrums are retiring to the RV life, conservatives and libs. A lot of Trumpers in the RV park. They proudly display their Trump 2020 flags. Because I lean left, Shrek and EB hate my move and anything about me. If I was a conservative, they would congratulate me on the move. Weird and illogical but there it is. Politics fueling hate when its not even a political issue. No way they turn on a Trumper retiring to the RV life Sometimes we live no particular way but our own - Grateful Dead "Eyes of the World" |

You betcha. Those things depreciate HOURLY, with every mile you put on them. They are always a liability, never an investment. Remember the old saying 'the two best days of your life are when you buy a boat, and the day you sell it?' That applies to RV's in spades. Houses go up in value, rarely do they go down. That's because RV's are disposable, they have a shelf life. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Here is the irony of Shrek and EB I've been camping for over 25 years Not much has changed in my eyes in 25 years of camping. Campgrounds all look the same with same types of happy camping decorations Except one thing that I cannot help noticing In 25 years of camping, never saw a single candidate political flag. NEVER for anybody. Campgrounds are friendly, rustic, enjoy outdoor nature atmosphere. Not a place for politics Until now Last campground, huge Trump 2020 flags. This campground, huge Trump 2020 flag. I'm sure people here have seen them, very popular with Trump supporters. Ironic isn't it. LOL I'm camping with EB and Shrek's people.
