He and his closest used it last election. https://www.cnn.com/2020/08/12/politics/trump-mail-in-voting-north-carolina/index.html What makes it unreliable is trump's intentional sabotage of the postal system, in an attempt to disenfranchise voters by making their ballots arrive too late to be counted. Why trump's sudden change of heart? Well, it turns out his supporters will listen to him and not vote by mail, and those who would have done so but won't vote in person? No vote for him. His detractors won't listen to him and will vote by mail anyway, resulting in a higher turnout and more votes for the other side. If all the votes that do get through the crippled post office system belong to the opposition then it's no good for him. No. My issues in mail voting being unsecure are about far more than the USPS. Glad to see you think vote by mail cannot be trusted though. The President is a fink. |
