Or, if they say, "We do not want the US to turn socialist like many of the Democrat candidates lean, because that will hurt the multinational companies which are so important to our local economy."

If you consider exposing truthful activity from a competitor that the American people can use to evaluate that competitor ..... well then exposing Biden and his son.....
Don't you want Biden investigated? You always say you want everyone investigated? It's wrong for the President to put pressure on a foreign government if he believes that foreign government has knowledge of illegal activity by a high ranking public official?

That's not what the Russians did. They pretended to be Americans posting thousands of fake posts of propaganda from fake people and even posted political rally events which real Americans thought were rallies sponsored by similar thinking Americans. And they funded this disinformation which is like funding a campaign. They also illegally hacked Democratic emails.

So if you're saying it's okay that another country has an opinion about our elections, I'm fine with that. But please don't pretend that's what happened.

Sounds kind of like CBS doing a story on fake documents on George W. Bush or any news outlet who called the Tea Party "racist."

We can argue over this..... but I think ‘our’ media trying to influence an election using lies and deceit is worse than when a foreign government tries to do it.
