Well put. When Republicans impeached Bill Clinton, they weren't attempting to nullify an election; they were attempting to hold a President accountable for perjury and obstruction of justice. There are only 2 possible outcomes of this current impeachment: A) President Trump or B) President Pence. (Option A is exponentially more likely than option B.) But that's it, there's no other possible outcomes. Mitch McConnell's Senate will not be installing President Pelosi. No matter what happens with impeachment, a Republican is guaranteed to inhabit the White House between now and January 2021 (and possibly longer). The only remaining mystery is whether that Republican's name is Pence or Trump. |

This is exactly the case. It is why the Democrats invented the Russia nonsense. And this is not the first time. They did not accept that W was POTUS. They have essentially said they want to impeach since election day, they would just find some charge somewhere. It is very dangerous how the modern Democrat Party is acting. They do not like Trump so they invent a reason to impeach. They do not like Kavanaugh so they think they are allowed to impeach. They do not like the way SCOTUS is set up at the moment so they want to change it. When anything goes against them their answer is to change the rules. This is how one-party rule happens in nations. Not a good thing. The President is a fink. |

Fantasy land. Name one voter who is saying.... I was going to vote for warren, but this news from the Ukrainian government has changed my mind! Now it's Trump all the way! And yes...... Seconds after Trump was elected the Democrats started their plans to nullify the election. Recount. Recount Recount. OK, impeach. Impeach. Impeach. Let me make this clear. They (if they impeach) will be presenting evidence that THEY KNOW will not result in a conviction. THEY KNOW IT! If they can come up with evidence that at least has a chance of getting 67 Senators to vote to remove Trump, then I'm. All for it. THEY ARE NOT EVEN CLOSE. |

Hard core socialists, no, they are Warren all the way. OTOH, don't think there are not a few who see the Democrat's underhandedness and will go for Trump just to spite them. They know that Trump won clean, fair, and square in 2016 and are tired of the Democrat games. The President is a fink. |

You are ignoring my main points. (I have two) There will be debates. There is CNN, MSNBC, NYT, etc... who are letting the American people know about these allegations. I'd prefer the American people decide if there is merit to them. I do not believe that saying.... "Hey, a guy who may be my opponent has been involved in illegal stuff with his son in your country, can you give us the evidence?" is an impeachable offense. If there is no 'dirt' (crime) then there is nothing to find, right? I think it is wrong to waste I'm guessing hundreds of millions if not billions of dollars on an impeachment trial. It also stops any other work Congress would theoretically be doing. Why are you Dems so afraid of the 2020 vote? |
