10 billion-1

I don't make bets on things like this in real life.

Those are Kind odds for Trump
A gazillion to 1 is more like it
and
I have no interest betting on this

I have no interest in really betting on it. But I will bring this concept over to WoV. I think a fair line would be 25-1 against. (You vote for me and I give your country an extra $10 billion in aid next year.....)

Goldman Sachs released a 34-page analysis of the impact of climate change. And the results are terrifying.

In 2010, Goldman Sachs gave 65% of their political donations to Republicans.
In 2012, Goldman Sachs gave 63% of their political donations to Republicans.
In 2014, Goldman Sachs gave 59% of their political donations to Republicans.
In 2016, Goldman Sachs gave 53% of their political donations to Republicans.

Goldman Sachs is just a bunch of libbies, don't listen to their stupid climate change propaganda, it's written by gullible libtard socialists.

Government Sachs has a vested interest in getting the feds to set up a cap and trade exchange. Follow the money.

Goldman Sachs still gives slightly more to the Rs, but they are playing both sides like most large banks.

They can also benefit from certain regulations that Dems want, but they can benefit more by some Republican eco policies, so either way can be a win, if they have the ear of the right candidates (which they probably do with all of the money they spend).

I added like everyone. Acquaintance owned a nursing home. He told me he would contribute $5k to both candidates for whatever office was important in nursing home legislation. It got him lunch with the candidate. And so whoever won he'd have an in to discuss issues important to him. It's dirty, but it IS.

What are We going to do about it?
Be bold and risk defeat, or be cautious and encourage it.

Its pretty hard to change rules when it would limit the power of those in the position to change the rules. No politician on any side likes to limit their influence.
