I think as an anti-Trumper I am able to find humor in his more ludicrous blatherings, without letting it bother my soul. I think the rest of you here take this too seriously. I just read Trump wants us to take ‘back’ the Panama Canal, while on the northeastern front, annexing Greenland. TDS addled will go crazy; I can laugh at the silliness.

And in actuality, with many of Trump’s bizarre pronouncements, maybe we get a better deal on Panama Canal crossings? Maybe we get to put more (any?) military bases on Greenland?

How do we know what's serious and what isn't? What are going to do when he orders a military incursion to retake the canal or occupy Greenland or annex Canada. We just gonna say "You were actually serious about that?"

You do it by using common sense. Like making a phone call about political corruption is not an impeachable offense. The immunity thing is there to pre the lawfare we have seen the last 8 years.
