And this is worth discussing. Your use of the word 'exaggerated'. Calling the 'scare' a hoax is just plain wrong. Calling it exaggerated may or may not be true. I am in a high risk group, but I am generally agreeing with you now. We are past the point of not having enough ventilators, PPE, so the healthcare system can now handle the extra hospitalizations the opening up of the economy will cause.

10 people will die from drowning in the USA today. You individually will choose to swim or not to swim today.
90 people will die from being in a car accident today. You individually will choose to be in a car or not today.
1000 people will die from smoking related illness today. You individually will choose to smoke or not smoke.
200 people will die today from a drug overdose. You individually will choose to use drugs not prescribed by a doctor. (Or not as prescribed)

We all have been taught 'social distancing' very well by now. Opening up the economy does not mean I do not have to practice social distancing. I do not have to go to the Sabres Stanley Cup finals game. I do not have to go to the packed Trump rally. I do not have to be sweating all over my buddies on the basketball court. Individually, I want the option to choose to do so.
And I am totally comfortable with someone walking around with an N-95 mask, staying home watching the Sabres, just sending Trump a check and not attending his rally, and just shooting baskets alone.

And give me Remdesivir when I get sick!

Sabres in the finals?

The china virus itself is real. The scare is absolutely exaggerated, which is why I use the word "hoax."

Had a guy doing a cost estimate in my house today. Offered to wear a mask, I told him I don't bother with that, and his beard meant it could not get a proper seal anyhow. He seemed to appreciate it.

I see people walking outside, alone, with a mask and wonder what they think they are accomplishing. I do wonder if we are going to look like SE Asia, with lots of people wearing them long term. The reality is a vaccine may never happen and it has to be lived with. The masks are going to be just another dividing line in American society.

If I heard correctly, PA goes before SCOTUS tomorrow to force an open. That would probably make other states fall in line if the opening happens.

We are clearly at a point that more people want to open than stay home. We are near violent rebellion in MI. Open it up. People who want to work can go to work. Cut off the unemployment for people who want to stay home.
The President is a fink.

Why do people keep saying the
economy is in complete shut
down? Not even close to true.

160 million employed people
in the US, 30 mil have applied
for unemployment, about 40
million total unemployed.
That leaves 120 million still
working. My wife's whole
fam is working from home.
So are my neighbors. Whole
segments of the economy
are untouched by the virus.
Some of them are booming.

I can still buy gas, go to the
grocery store, get packages
delivered 7 days a week.
We are hardly in total shutdown,
the media is just hysterical
as usual.
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

That orange face paint sprouted.

You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really?

Trump is doing an AWESOME job in this crisis.

Learn what success looks like.

To righties, success looks like a 9/11 per day for months on end.

Sad how far they go to demean themselves in service of the almighty orange one.

He’s not worth it. They’ve completely debased themselves for somebody so undeserving of it.

The one you posted occurred two days ago.

“This took place a few weeks ago” referred to the one I posted. Different dirtbags.

Ah, my bad then. I thought you were saying they were the same person. My apologies. ✌️

No, Governors have the power in this case.

No Trump
These pro Trumpers that believe the virus is a hoax don't believe any Governor
They refuse to social distance, wont wear masks and shake hands
Trump has influence, he can get these nuts to get with the program
Instead Trump eggs them on and they will endanger peoples lives in this country regardless of lockdown or no lockdown

So it is only "Trumpers" out there violating the guidelines of the Governors, huh? I've seen pictures from areas (including around Houston) which don't strike me as "Trumper" areas, if you can define things like that.

Trump does have influence. He is encouraging resumption of life and opening the economy under guidelines, but also maintaining social distancing and being as safe as practical.

Some people aren't as willing to cede their freedoms to Government in spite of what Trump has said about how things should open up.

...but, of course, blame Trump for everything.

Last night Laura Ingraham had a long expose on
the use of the malaria drug on the virus. She had
doctor after doctor after doctor, who all together
have treated thousands of patients with fantastic
success using the malaria drug. None of them can
figure out where the media is getting these doctors
that're saying they're getting results killing
patients. All these doctors are seeing the opposite.
It's almost like there's a plot out there do trash
talk the usage of this drug to keep the pandemic
going for as long as possible.
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

Almost like? There clearly is. The malaria drug is off patent and can be sold on the cheap. So old it was part of a MASH episode. The drug companies cannot make their big profits off an old drug. Plus Trump heard of the great results and the TDS sufferers thus will never accept it.
