Wisconsin Sheriff Says He Will Not Enforce Stay-at-Home Order

That's how it starts, officials in
the bottom tier refusing to
enforce the rules. Without
them the top tier has no power.

"Wisconsin’s Racine County Sheriff Christopher Schmaling indicated in a statement on Friday he will not enforce the state’s stay-at-home order, which Gov. Tony Evers (D) extended through May 26. Schmaling emphasized that state law “does not have the power to supersede or suspend the Constitutional rights of American citizens".

Watch the libbies go crazy over this. 😂😂

Libbies love ignoring orders but only when it suits their needs.
Like when libbie politicians refuse to go after illegal aliens. 🙄

Not really. It has happened before. The State can (and probably will)
activate the National Guard and take over. It has happened before. And, the Sheriff can face legal issues. Or in extreme cases Federal Order can bring saftey to the area.

He is just another Sherriff being an idiot and trying to get TV time.... I bet he will back down if State Forces show up and force him to....

Play stupid games win stupid prizes.

The sheriff is a flipping hero and hopefully others emulate him. Local law enforcement needs to refuse to enforce unconstitutional orders.

No. That is the same logic of "just following orders" to defend anything. He needs to defend the constitution of his state and the USA.

You seem content with your nation becoming a police state before your eyes.

If only there was some mechanism in place so that individuals did not have to determine on their own whether or not an executive order or law was constitutional.

It's called "FREEDOM."

I don't recall you being so upset at sanctuary cities protecting illegal aliens.

Isn't this guy like in his 20's?? That would make sense since all these kids straight out of college are in love with the deep state. 🙄

If a police state means policing unsafe behavior then yes, I wish we lived in a police state.
