I just heard a constitutional law
professor say good luck with that.
She has to give them to the Senate
and she can make no demands on
how the trial is run. The Senate
will throw out the first one because
it's invalid (and ridiculous) and
make short work of the 2nd.

Scott Adams made the point today
that way back, long before the
impeachment debacle ever started,
that there will be no real trial in
the Senate because if you've won
before the trial has even started
why would you waste your time
with a trial. And why would you
legitimize the whole witchhunt
sham by having a trial.

This is on a par with the Johnson
impeachment in 1867. He refused
to sign bills to rebuild the South,
so the House said that was a crime
and impeached him. Like Trump,
no crime was committed so it went
thru the Senate quickly.

Apparently it doesn't matter. Even if Pelosi
refuses to submit the articles of impeachment
to the Senate, McConnell can convene the
Senate anyway, summon the Chief Justice,
and swear in the Senators as jurors and
acquit the President.

Trump's loyal lapdog supporters think they have some importance to him. About as much importance as machine gun fodder. A guy like Trump never really respects his underlings. You can tell by the way he acts. They are expendable and forgotten like mob underlings a second later when they've served their purpose.

Agree. Still NOT a reason for removal via impeachment. VOTE HIM OUT if you think he is the lesser of the two choices presented us next November. If the Democrats do not send the articles to the Senate it will be such a bonehead decision. The American people will then see what the Democrats did in the House in even clearer terms.... spend hundreds of millions of dollars for a Democratic feel good moment!

I do not understand libbie logic.

I have heard them continually say that President Trump is an immediate danger to the US Constitution, The United States and national security and must be removed NOW. Because of this the democrats had to speedily move through the impeachment process.

Now that the articles of impeachment have been passed, the democrats (Nancy Pelosi) is delaying the sending of them to the US Senate.

Have what the democrats been saying all along been LIES, LIES and more LIES???
