they aren't dumb, they know the
Senate won't get rid of their own
party president in an election year,
when he has such high ratings.

This is about satisfying their base.
It's backfiring among the all important
independents, though. Their support
for Trump has shot up since the
SchittShow started. If it goes to the
Senate, that's where the real show
will take place.

I never cease to be amazed about how strong my sterotypes of people are. I can't shake the idea that all politicians and journalists are brilliant geniuses no matter how many times they show how incompetent and foolish they are.

Where do you get your faith in Trump? As of reporting currently, the White House has apparently been caught in a bunch of emails trying to make up a justification ex post facto for the Ukraine business. In case my Latin is bad, that means, they were trying to come up with an excuse for proof they claimed to have already had.
