They act like the whole religion is going to fall apart with no Easter mass. Relax, myths don't die that easily. You will be fine. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

You gotta love how they get into the spirit of the thing. Here we just give candy and hide eggs, not really very scriptural.. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

“Satan and a virus will not stop us,” Rev. Tony Spell told Reuters. “God will shield us from all harm and sickness. We are not afraid." They actually believe this. Even though it's been proven beyond a shadow of doubt that praying for sick and dying people in hospitals does absolutely nothing for them. Superstitious nonsense dies hard. Praying and a dollar will get you a coffee at McD's. Just praying will get you jack.. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

We didn't even know people went to church on Easter, we never went ever. We thought it was the Easter Bunny holiday where we got huge baskets of candy and big chocolate eggs that took a week to eat. We loved looking for the eggs and coloring them the night before. We had no idea it was a superstitious holiday too. It was the 50's. This is the true meaning of Easter: If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

My uncle, still alive in his mid 80's, wholesale sold candy to small grocery stores. Around Easter he would always bring us those big chocolate bunnies that had a broken ear or some other 'deformity'. Still tasted great! |

I have been livestreaming, doing on-line Bible Studies, retreats, and have put our Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Vigil on-line. It is surreal celebrating Easter Mass facing a camera, cell phone, laptop, instead of hundreds of smiling faces. However the message of Jesus or more importantly the historical witness of Jesus rising from the dead is the greatest hope for those who believe. I wish you all a very Happy Easter! “It is with the smallest brushes that the artist paints the most exquisitely beautiful pictures.” ( |

The historical myth, you mean. You have no real proof any such rising happened. You've been told it did, that's all you have. That's all any Xtian has, hearsay and stories and wishful thinking. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

It is what gave birth to Christianity and gave the early followers of the Risen Christ, whom they had seen, the courage to boldly proclaim Him at the cost of their lives. It spread all over the world and continues to impact the world like nothing else today as people encounter the living Lord Jesus in their own lives. “It is with the smallest brushes that the artist paints the most exquisitely beautiful pictures.” ( |
