I didn't spin anything or even try to explain the verse to you because I knew what your response would be. All I asked you to do was to get some context read some other parts of the Bible and see if you really, honestly believe it says what you want it to say. If you aren't willing to do that then please stop asking me about how you think the Bible should be interpreted.

By the way none of those 2500 different Christian Churches would ever interpret that verse the way you have. We are all united in that and so many other things because we love Jesus and His teachings. That you think you know better than all those 2500 Churches and dare to tell us how to interpret the Scriptures is pretty insane to me.

You asked if I really thought Jesus would say something like that. That's spinning it, that's casting a Shadow of doubt on what he meant. I don't think spinning means what you think it means.
