I look at it differently. Libbie voters are not necessarily "dumbass". If I had no job, no aspirations to ever get a good one, friends and family who are illegal aliens, no savings, no education nor desire to get one, etc..., I would vote 'libbie', because those elected officials would be better for me (Sanders, Warren, as examples). The problem with America is those people outnumber their opposites. |

Not disagreeing, but aren't the majority of voters "greedy"? Not all. But don't most vote for the candidates that will do the most for the voter? If you are a poor guy don't you just vote for the candidate who will give the most 'free' stuff? (Health insurance, UBI, college tuition, child care, phones, etc..) And if you are a taxpayer paying $100k or more don't you vote for the guy who will try and rein in all the free stuff? Just gotta give you the facts, Shrek, as Romney put it, there are 47% in the first group, and growing...... |

He's probably right. Lincoln was hated in the press for the war. But the press was very limited in those days. Trump has to put up with a negative press 1000 times bigger than Lincoln could even have imagined. And he still does great in spite of it. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |
