Wow, CNN is hitting this just as hard as Fox. They've had Bergdahl's mates from the Army on all day, they're really hate this guy. Much like what happened to John Kerry in 2004, with Swiftboat controversy. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

In fact, Tapper would have been a great choice for moderator of Meet the Press after Tim Russert died, but NBC got stuck with loser David Gregory instead...lol Looks like Obama's a victim of his own arrogance on this one. He thought Bergdahl's release would draw attention away from the VA scandal, and it has. Only not in the way he had anticipated. LOL Boron Boron Boron rhymes with moron, moron, moron |

Judge Napolitano was on checking off the number of impeachable offenses Obama committed by releasing the prisoners. Former fed proseceutor McCarthy also says it's impeachable. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Always has. http://www.mediaite.com/tv/jeffrey-toobin-obama-clearly-broke-the-law-on-bergdahl/ If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

After a while don't you guys get concerned you're being manipulated when you think this story is like sliced bread, but it just gets continually replaced with another flavor. Kabuki theater isn't it? Real news of a scientific story, they rediscovered by closer examination a rocky planet in an ancient solar system they didn't think could exist so large and not be a gaseous planet. |

Sure, those evil and dastardly Republicans attack him all the time and everyone seems to forget the nasty and un-Presidential things he says about them, but he is the President and he should tell the truth most of the time (yes, they may have to mislead a bit for security issues, but not as a rule for every issue). Now he suddenly thinks that he "informed" Congress that he was letting go five upstanding citizens of the world in trade for one soldier who may or may not have deserted. I'm not okay with it because we are bargaining with terrorists. What is worse is that he signed a law saying that he had to give 30 days notice to release a prisoner. He didn't do that. He thinks the law he signed is unconstitutional. Then he says that he gave them noticed by mentioning to someone that something might happen. Why did he sign the law if he felt is was unconstitutional? Just to say that he did? Why didn't he veto it, saying what his premise for thinking it was unconstitutional was, and send it back to the Congress? Why did he let go of five terrorists when the past record of recidivism seems so high? I understand...there was an American that needed help...but five people who can help the enemy? This isn't like some low-level POW swap...and the whole thing does not seem very well thought out. There are so many issues with similar lack of truth and transparency.... |

The question is doesn't all the lying, failure to uphold the laws of the land (IIRC part of the presidential oath is to "the best of [my] ability preserve, defend and protect the Constitution...") amount to high crimes and misdemeanors? And if not within his ability to abide by the Constitution isn't impeachment required? I get that it won't stick, but the point is when will this unbridled audacity be challenged? When has everyone had enough? He's everywhere, he's everywhere...! |

I don't feel sorry for him, either. In personality terms, he is what is called a "socializer type." This is the kind of person who likes being center of attention, likes being on stage, lots of people gravitate to them. OTOH, they are the type that can't focus on one thing for long and tend to be terrible at planning things. As an organizer they might get a community group fired up to go pick up trash in a neighborhood. Then when everyoe shows up someone asks, "so, where do I get my trashbag and gloves?" Neither are there because this personality type hates the nitty gritty of planning and managing. This type can be great when they have someone to rein them in from time to time. They need to be paired with the "thinker" which is the polar opposite (my type FWIW.) The thinker will plan anything and is happier working alone working out the bugs of something or in small groups. The thinker has a tough time motivating people because, well, they like working alone or with objects more than people. My best management time was when I had a socializer of the first order under me. I had to nearly physically drag him to staff meetings, but he could relate to staff well. What does this have to do with Obama? Simmple, he just wanted this guy released. He didn't want to get a good deal. So he directly or put pressure on staff to cut a few corners. Obama is too arrogant to have someone to rein him in. Now the rest of the story comes out and to some of us it comes as no surprise. War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength |
