Massive hack hits Twitter. Many celebrity accounts have been sending out tweets linking to a bitcoin scam.

Twitter has had to disable “verified users’” ability to post. So basically no famous/high profile people can tweet right now.

Air conditioners could be aiding the spread of COVID-19 indoors

The anti-freedom people are already begging the government to take away their rights, so are they going to beg them to take away their air conditioning as well? 🙄

Anyway, good to see Rachel actually get a rating again. She has been lingering in those for a while. Too bad she can't do a Mary Trump interview every night. Her regular show is very hard to watch.

That story makes me wonder about what was happening in NYC during the outbreak. Yes, many were riding subways without masks and that surely contributed...just as any large group of people (masked or unmasked) likely ups the chances of spreading the disease. Anyway, NYC is filled with large buildings with lots of people in them...do they have individual heat and a/c systems? If the handling is done by main systems, that would help spread the disease. The WHO says the temp to kill COVID is above 132.8 F.

As of right now, it appears that GOP governors are a MUCH bigger threat to public health than air conditioners.

I’d like to look into outlawing those morons from holding office before thinking about AC.

I’d like to look into outlawing those morons from holding office before thinking about AC.

Of course you would...even though people wearing masks all the time and following all the best advice available are still getting infected all the time, this is more political than anything to lefties. Could the air reuse issue be making it worse? Are their other reasons we haven't found yet?

You don't get the people violating mask orders aren't just a bunch of righties; they are people of all kinds still having parties (in private when bars aren't available), large family gatherings, etc. Many people live in confined quarters with lots of people. Last I looked, California--a current hot spot--was a little bit of a left-leaning state.

Most people that are getting Covid are getting it by breathing it in. If we just ban breathing the cases will drop significantly.

That is why people have been encouraging outdoor events and discoursing being indoors outside of your home...

This is hardly news....

That is why some states (smart states) mandate masks inside and only allow outdoor dining...


For example to relate to Casinos, AC got it right, Vegas did not (strange sentence to say).
Vegas apparently requires masks, but you can eat, drink, and smoke (and remove your mask while doing so), so they may as well not require masks at all.... AC bans all indoor consumption (eating, drinking, smoking, etc....)
AC no removing of the mask is allowed while outside of your hotel room....

There should be no indoor consumption of anything in public anywhere, and masks should be required at all indoor public locations.... And, its smart to even wear them outdoors if in a crowd....
