This is not true. He wants to freeze rent on already stabilizes apartments. And, build more public housing.

I am not aware of a single campaign promise or existing proposal to make properties that are not already under rent control, rent controlled. I am happy to be corrected if somebody can show me a proposal on the campaign or official gov website...

The idea that certain people are profligating that this will effect Jews only or especially is pure silliness. This will only effect landlords who already own rent controlled buildings.

This is what I mean about Mandami Syndrome. If I complain about Tariffs which impact my day to day life, I have TDS. But, complaining about a policy that effects a couple hundred people in a City you will never even visit let alone live in, is called being an astute citizen.... People need to get real, people don't like him because he is a Muslim and doesn't take money from Israel, let's be real, this is all it is.

Sure, there's some mfg. but not even close to what there used to be.

Here is a great example Trump is actively working on banning all investors from buying single family homes. No more rental homes. This will effects 10s of millions of landlords across the country. Nobody here cares (and I suspect most are cheering it on.) Many landlords who own single family homes they rent are just older people who accrued a couple local homes over the course of their life and kept them and rent them instead of selling.

For the record, I support this, investors should be banned from operating single family rentals. But, anyone who thinks this is less socialist than Mandami's proposals is delusion. We are talking about over 15 million properties that are single family homes operated as rentals for investment.

However, pointing out the negatives of the government getting involved in the residency occupation of 15 million properties and demanding how properties be sold and to whom is TDS. But, some local mayor freezing rent in an already stabilized building for a year is " Islamic communism of our time."


This is why conservatives cannot be taken seriously on the issue of Mandami, as they cheer a total disruption in single family ownership by landlords...

I can't find a written proposal, so I'll be happy to be happy to be corrected if you can send me the proposed text so I can see how they define different investors.

I already answered your security clearance question, no city employee or city elected official is ever required to get a federal clearance.
