I think this will be my last post here on the controversial type threads that live here. It is just too frustrating to continue to argue with a simpleton. Someone so limited who writes ‘the vast majority of rich people iin NYC would never live anywhere else’ thinking that’s an ok answer to the exodus that EVEN THE DEMOCRAT GOVERNOR has admitted has happened…. If enough of a minority of these high earners leave that’s a big hole for NYC. Its impact has been temporarily stayed by the overall booming stock market and resultant taxation due to such. If 10% of the multimillionaires leave it’s a big deal.

EB has mentioned he posts for himself. That’s not me. I post to interact. But what I’m getting back is of such low quality it’s just not worth it. So I’ll still be here but not active in the majority of threads. I’ve received many PM’s just telling me to ignore the few low quality posters, but I think that’s virtually impossible if participating in a thread.

Because you are obsessed with saying "TDS" everything somebody makes a true observation of Trump, and you say it's either not that big of a deal or it's reversible.

If complaining about my President (who does impact my life,) is TDS, then what is complaining about a Mayor of a random city you don't live in or have any business interests in?

Even if he says mean things (I have not seen it yet,) this country is full of random mayors who say way more hateful and idiotic things.

I live in GA. Take a drive around rural GA and visit some mayors in random towns in the middle of the state of tiny towns sub 100 population, you will find dozens of mayors that you will be shocked know how to get their shoes on.... These mayors impact both of us way more than Mamdani ever will (we are both geographically closer to their towns...) If I go to NYC at all, it won't be for more than a quick weekend trip (and that is too long for me, hate crowds, but wife loves NYC....) and the mayor of NYC has zero impact on my life staying in some touristy hotel for 2 nights.
