All I’ve read is that Lemon was there as a protester first and a journalist second. He will be able to present his side to a jury of his peers.

Frankly, as someone who is more washed up than any ‘journalist’ I can think of, I’d bet this is actually the outcome he wanted. Before this episode, who remembered that Don Lemon existed.

I frankly found him extremely weak as a ‘journalist’. I much preferred Anderson Cooper who essentially was delivering the same message

So you think Lemon is theatrical, but you don't think a President sending a Federal SWAT team to a person who offered to voluntarily surrender is not a publicity stunt?

This is basically the equivalent of a Mayor having the local police send their SWAT team to somebody pending being arrested for DUI who already has organized a surrender through their lawyer. The whole thing is political, and if you don't realize that...

Judge releases him without a bond
NO BOND for somebody that was determined to be so dangerous they needed over 2 dozen agents to arrest him

But I will say this. You haven’t seen the crowds attacking/threatening/interfering with criminal arrests recently? If I was sent to arrest your docile 98 year old grandmother I’d be nervous today.

I know and care very little about Don Lemon, I know he is a former CNN anchor/host/whatever and I guess he does some kind of podcast or online show now, that is about the extent of it, never watched him on CNN or online, I don't think that I have even heard his voice before seeing him in these church clips. I assume he is liberal because you hate him, but I honestly could not tell you anything about his views on anything. I care more about how the President of the U.S. behaves than some washed up podcaster.

If you don't see how a President being theatrical towards journalists effects your life more than a journalist being theatrical towards the President, well....
