They could have arrested him there on at least four counts. They let him go instead. Possibly under orders from their immediate superior or higher. Really bad call. They saw he was armed. Permit or no permit, a violent person should not be allowed to carry a gun. An arrest normally would have required him to surrender his weapon(s) and permit, pending the outcome of his case. Which likely would have saved his life two weeks later. |

Wow This makes it a lot lot worse Instead of arresting him legally at the time They tracked him down and executed him for revenge No wonder they went full gestapo on him instead of legally arresting him |

Of course. Cops’ main priority is their pension. They don’t want to risk it by planning a murder while dozens of people have cameras trained on them. If the guy standing over Pretti is the killer and pulled the trigger at that moment, he’ll certainly do time. I just don’t think he planned it. Read some ‘experts’ that are predicting manslaughter conviction. |
