He arguably interjected himself into this mess in an attempt to capture some screen time and to try to appear relevant once again.

He's been floundering since he got shit-canned by CNN.

As usual
It's much ado about nothing
Yea a lot of lefties were in the church
Church people hated that so they canceled the service
Bondi hears about this
Determines that if the service is canceled then people were prevented from practicing their religion
Bondi determines that's illegal
Orders her people to go to the hotel and arrest Lemmon
Whole thing is BS

No, it is not bullshit, it is a crime.

Churches are not public squares where anyone is invited to hold up signs and rail against the government: churches are "houses of god" and as such seem akin to houses.

Unlawful entry into a house usually results in the intruder being shot or a burglary charge when, as here, they enter with bad intent.

No, a church isn't a house but I like the analogy.

These douchebags interfering with a church service warrants imposition of substantial jail time as well as consignment to the fiery furnace when they take their final dirtnap.

Who's old enough to remember this classic SNL skit
Lol

She is blaming her remarks on people that were there telling her what happened
WTF
The whole planet is watching the videos and you are going with hearsay
Talk about incompetence
I actually saw one of the first videos of this incident
That's how I learned about it
I quickly went to the internet and nothing was in the news yet
This is the video from the guy accross the street in his house videoing out his house window
Didn't take long for the story to go viral

If you are in a position of power, like she is, you must BE SURE you have the facts before you blurt out something. She could have (and should have) given the vanilla “we are in the process of gathering evidence before we make a conclusion”. I can’t be sure from those videos what exactly happened? Are we even sure we know which ICE guys fired the lethal shot (shots?) yet? What I can be sure of is that the evidence in the Pretti killing did not demand a ‘ICE is justified’ conclusion immediately.

I expect Noem to be a FOX commentator before 2027.

What exactly did he do to warrant an arrest at his hotel
Bear in mind he wasn't arrested at the church
He was arrested well after the incident
I imagine this service was open to the public
If there were protests, how is this Lemons fault
He didn't protest at the church
He was there to document the protest
I'm ok with arresting protestors that disrupt a service
I'm not ok arresting a reporter simply reporting and not protesting

Trump goons made him relevant
He's got to be giddy about this
Leading the fight to protect the 1st amendment of the constitution
He's now the news
Bondi is so stupid

The whole timing and execution of this is so over the top. This happened Sunday. Why did they wait till late nite Thursday to arrest him. On top of that, they gather over 2 dozen agents to arrest him in a " high stakes operation"
WTF
They could have told his lawyer to turn himself in at a police station
No doubt he would have complied
But no
They need over 2 dozen agents to take him down

I'm sorry, but invading a church while religious services are being held and then "taking it over" for political purposes is very, very wront: the protesters went too far.

Sure, maybe the pastor is a MAGA goon, and maybe most of the flock are as well: that doesn't matter.

Unlike protesting in public places like city streets these protesters physically invaded and disrupted church services.

Although I am an atheist I respect the rights of folks to worship in private: their right is, to my mind, inviolate.

I agree
Arrest protestors
Free Don Lemon
Lol
Actually he is free
They just need to drop the charges
Who thought it must be a good idea to make Don Lemon relevant again
He was treading the back waters of the internet like Tucker and Meghan Kelly
Now he's front page news
WTF
It's hillarious

I'm really really really surprised they didn't call in SWAT to arrest Don
WTF
