Apparently it is. And apparently his gun is visible while he is violently attacking the vehicle. If he were alive today that’s a felony he could be charged with. I think the spitting can be considered assault which against the ICE guys would be another felony.

So a violent rabble rouser carrying a loaded gun was killed. Doesn’t change the likely fact that the ICE guys didn’t have any legitimate reason to kill him. But changes him from ‘loving ICU nurse’ to violent felon.

I would also like all guns gone from the face of the earth. But, since that is not going to happen (at least not in our lifetime,) people with legal ownership of guns and legal carry permits have a right to carry. Including to protests, even if you don't like what they are advocating for. The right carries guns to protests all of the time, and never once do I recall you saying it is dumb for them to do that.

On the release day the right and rightwing podcasters were jovially pointing out he was a terrorists based on comments from the corrupt officials. "You" means your side as a representative of the right.

Here is a prime example, despite not liking to talk about personal stuff:

My father-in-law stayed at our house last night. And, we actually get along really good unless politics comes up. But, out of nowhere he made some comment about how Alex Pretti charging the police with a gun in his hand was symbolic of the chaos in America and how another lady tried to run down police. I asked him how he can possible think that? And, of course he never saw either video, and only knows what people say on the radio about it and the press releases in the newspaper... (And, then my wife wouldn't let me play the video on the big TV for a real time breakdown or continue explain what really happened....)

This is the problem when the administration puts out false information, their supporters will never want to look at evidence, and even when they see it, find ways to selectively view it...

Yes, if a violent jan 6 defendant got killed in later protest where he was not acting violently that would be a crime against him.

People like Pretti who are trying to interfere (first attack on ICE car and officers) with those trying to enforce our immigration laws are insurrectionists. If the LEO’s can be attacked for enforcing our laws we have no laws.

As stated innumerable times, if you don’t like the laws, you don’t attack the cops like Pretti did (first attack, not when he was killed), you vote in representatives that will change the laws to your liking.
