The U.S. government is very limited in its ability to help U.S. citizens in Haiti. Local police and other first responders often lack the resources to respond to emergencies or serious crime. Shortages of gasoline, electricity, medicine, and medical supplies are common throughout the country. Public and private medical clinics and hospitals often lack trained staff and basic resources. In addition, they require prepayment for services in cash.[etc]

All those Haitians in the US are nothing to worry about, though. Once they step foot in America, all that stuff disappears. Even if your community has 20,000, you'll probably feel like it's a couple of hundred model citizens. The next generation will have somebody running for President, no doubt. Or so we are told by our Lefties here.

Israel is not a ‘real soon’ kind of foe. They will pick the time and place that best suits their goals. The targeted assassinations, exploding pagers, land incursions into Gaza, and now Lebanon, are all done on Israel’s timetable. Not the enemy’s. Not the USA’s. Not the world’s.

Does Iran have an ‘Iron Dome-like’ system or when Israel launches its 200 missiles most will hit their targets in Iran?
