My daughter was offered a 90% tuition package to go to Columbia but New York City was a little too overwhelming for her.

Yes, people conflate Israeli politics with religion. One can clearly be against their politics without offending Jewish people.

As a Columbia grad I’d say many, but certainly not all, who are against Israel eliminating Hamas and Hezbollah are antisemitic. I firmly believe you are not antisemitic but are against Israel’s actions. Yesterday two Israeli civilians were killed by a missile launched from Lebanon. Should Israel not do EVERYTHING in its power to prevent more such attacks? If they know where it was launched from SHOULDNT they go into Lebanon and eliminate that building?

When you look at the numbers , there is no comparison.
Israeli lives are not more valuable then Palestinian lives
Jewish lives are not more valuable then Muslim lives
All lives are equal in my eyes

People are questioning the amount of collateral damage in Israels approach to fighting the terrorists.

I don't have any problem with killing Hamas fighters themselves. Or Hezbollah as the case may be.

That’s just not how life works. If Mexico launched missiles at San Diego, and killed 10 Americans, you think we should only take action until10 Mexicans are dead? No, we take action until we know Mexico can’t launch any more missiles! I’m not counting the number of dead Mexicans, I’m counting the number of saved Americans.

I’m not demanding ANY blood. I’m just demanding the mission be finished. First and foremost is returning the 100 or so hostages. I don’t care how many hostage holders and their collaborators are killed in trying to free those hostages. I’m demanding that not a single missile be launched from Gaza/Lebanon/Iran at Israel. If you could convince me of a different plan to accomplish those two things I’d be all for Israel accepting that peace.

I would hope the USA would act THE EXACT SAME WAY towards any country that attacked us like Israel was attacked.

You don’t want your people killed? Don’t commit a massacre, take hostages, and launch missiles at Israel. It’s quite simple.
