Remember the jokes that if Trump said Oxygen was good the Democrats would stop breathing? Well, he is now saying that! Is Nancy going to throw a little hissy fit and come out against this? Is his base going to move to Biden?

All it really is about is the Clinton "Triangulation" strategy on massive steroids. Most likely it just gets the Democrats back to the table and gets them serious. No more silly vote by mail demands or such. Trump looks like the adult.

He made it sound like he was going to extend the extra $600 weekly unemployment, but then when a reporter asked him if it would really still be $600/week and how the govt could pay for it he got all cagey and wouldn’t answer.

I heard it was going to be adjusted to 70% of income for a 600 max. So you will no longer receive base UI plus 600, just 70% (up to 600 if your state has a lower max).
