Trump like it or not, is as much the Democrat's fault as anyone else's.

And who is this Democrat, Ron?

I note your Trumper hypocrisy. The things said about Trump pale in comparison to the things said about Obama for the last eight years--you know, that Muslim socialist Kenyan darky who singlehandedly destroyed the country. There's another big difference--the things said about Trump are true.

You are so tighty-righty when you characterize some kids throwing two-by-fours as representative of the entire Democratic party. And chiding the party for stirring up hatred????? THAT, buddy boy, is by far the most hypocritical thing anybody has said in the history of human discourse. And yes, I'm using hyperbole here. But not much.

I'm sorry, Ron, the hatred for Trump is legitimate, understandable, and will only intensify. Whether you approve of it or not.

This is complete and total B.S.

No, your statement is complete BS. The Democrats put forth a horrid candidate who ran a horrid campaign. The Republicans put forth what many consider a worse candidate who ran a much better campaign.

The party leadership failed the party as a whole. Don't be made; just accept the failure. It happened to the Republicans (perhaps twice) when Obama was elected (solid candidate, poor campaign against inexperienced candidate, great campaign). Everyone left them for road kill, but look what happened. The Democrats will be back but, as long as they deny failure and the fact that their failures helped get Trump elected, they will be in denial and not rebuilding.

Whatever. You don't listen; never did. Saying the ignorant things that get said about the President--like wishing for his death--and Republicans--like they should all die--is just hatred and sometimes people act out that normally wouldn't. My position is that "hatred" would be better focused on getting Democrats elected and moving the party forward.

What got Trump elected was the meteoric ascendancy of tribalism, nativism, bigotry, and hatred. The Democrats got caught off guard in thinking that these were fringe concepts in America. They are, in fact, as has been sadly proved, core concepts. America is not about "We hold these truths to be self-evident..." Not any more, anyway. It's about "BUILD A WALL! and "LOCK HER UP!" Usually screamed by an ignorant redneck.

I'm not even saying that these nasty thoughts are held by the majority of Americans--I think that the majority are, in fact, decent people. It's just that the Trumpers of this world tend to be louder, angrier, and thus more influential. I don't "accept the failure" of the Democratic party because I'm not responsible for what they say or do. I agree that they could have run a better campaign. But the race should never have been remotely close.

The moment that the Orange Asshole started flapping his arms to mock a disabled reporter, he should have been chucked into the fetid, smelly dumpster of history. The failure of America that led to his election isn't that of the Democratic party, though they share the blame. The failure is that of common decency, pluralism, and tolerance being submerged amid the howls of rabid mobs at Trump's hate rallies.

And please give me one reason why I should even remotely consider listening to you? I DO listen, in fact--just not to you and the other tighty-righties here.

Wishing for the death of Trump isn't hatred--it's like wishing for winter to be over. But I do hate him, and I'm proud of it. Decent people should hate horrible people who commit crimes and make others suffer. (And that's why I also hate Republicans.)

You don't like that. Too %^%@#$% bad.

You're argument is basically the one people use when people say "Women who get raped were asking for it by dressing slutty!"

No. No one is to blame except for the rapist.

In this analogy, no one is to blame except the deranged righties who saw this unqualified moron as someone who could actually make a good President. Don't try to pin your party nominating an insane man-baby on the Democrats.

Republicans own Donald. And after 1 month filled with scandal after scandal and insane tweet after insane tweet, it's clear it's going to be a long painful four years for everyone, left and right.

A bullshit comparison.

Y'all go on; live in your dream world.

I'm tired of being called a Trumper and all the bullshit from SL anyway. I make a point and just get called names.

The Republicans DO own Trump. No dispute there. There is also NO DISPUTE is that he got elected at least partially because he ran against a terrible candidate. That is the DEMOCRATS fault.

You shouldn't. You should never, ever consider another point of view. You should just keep calling people names and writing ignorant things.

It is what you do.

Looks like I'm not the only one refusing to accept your premise that the Democrats are responsible for Trump. I guess that makes us all ignorant, hyuk, hyuk. Why don't we all listen to you? It would make us SO much smarter.

And I have indeed considered your point of view. I just tossed it out with the used cat litter, is all.
