What would be the point of my debating with Trumpers as they try to rationalize their choice of an evil, incompetent narcissist for the most important office in the land?

I forgot to mention that 21,675,877.5 of those voters were illegal immigrants anyway. Trump did warn us that that would happen, after all.

Reading Stinky's comment about any American who voter for Trump . then his comment on the AI thread, it boggles the mind. How can a person who seems to be intelligent post a knowledgeable comment about AI then act like an ass about Trump voters ??

I agree with that.

The Democrats had a sham of a primary process, there were no real choices offered, and the one person available who looks like they stood a chance against Hillary was shut down.

This is difficult to say with any certainty, without a real list of viable democrat presidential candidates, but among all of the ones that could maybe have been presented in a real democrat primary, Hillary was among the few who Trump could have beaten.

So what I'm saying is that the democrats had no real list of presidential candidates, but if they did have such a list, I don't think Trump would have won against most of them.

Instead they hand-picked Hillary for a coronation with no real democratic process and everyone got screwed.

Trump didn't win. Hatred, fear, nativism, and bigotry won. No Democratic candidate could have defeated that. The Dems stand for common decency and human rights. That's not nearly as sexy as screaming hate slogans at a deplorables rally.

I think we actually need four years of Trump, and however many decades of Republican one-party rule, to teach us once and for all to act as and vote like human beings, not like Trumpers. The actual vote for Trump should have been maybe 200 people. We need the poverty and misery of Trump rule to show us why we shouldn't listen to people like him and the Republicans.
