Okay, the example of the time we spend being sexually active and not was not the best argument. However, it is clear that not being sexually active is not unnatural. It is also clear that two men and not meant to have sexual activity with each other, this is really simple biology.

I can't think of the specific movie scene, but there is one where one character goes on a long explanation why the other character has something completely wrong. After a couple minutes of explanation, the character stops finally satisfied he's given the best explanation, near irrefutable why the other character was wrong.

After a brief silence, the other character inexplicably just says the same wrong thing over again that he's been saying.

Celibacy is about as far from natural as

I've said as much many times. I like FrG,
but on many subjects he is only capable
of seeing one side, the side he's been
taught is the 'right' side. So, like a
programmed robot, when you think
you're getting somewhere with him,
he starts over at the beginning like
you've said nothing at all. Because to
him, you haven't.

Last year a Catholic member here sent
me a PM asking why I was bothering to
argue with a priest. He said the priest
knows he's right about everything, you
don't argue, you just ignore him and
do what you want. Probably good
advice if I was a Catholic.

We might be born with many predilections that would be beneficial if we went against them. What about pedophilia or even alcoholism? Wouldn't it be unreasonable and foolish not to against these predilections no matter how natural they felt to you?
