OMG, that fits FrG exactly. He'll
believe anything the Church tells
him to believe.

1) As has been pointed out, how would you know it doesn't change?

2) Witness testimony is highly unreliable and prone to false memories. https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/what-happens-in-the-brain-when-we-misremember/?WT.mc_id=SA_MB_20160914

3) Seriously. If the testimony of an alleged witness gets passed around by tens of people, how do you figure it cannot change?

4) https://youtu.be/QCRAUKWKKlo

If someone rises from the dead you remember that and pass it on without messing up that fundamental truth. Witnesses might vary on the color of the guys shirt or what direction he ran but they all agree that they witnesses a murder. It is the same in reverse.

And as soon as you do that, the story
starts to get embellished. It's something
that's been proven over and over. It's
why hearsay evidence isn't admissible
in court. But in religion, every word of
it is believed. Pretty lame, huh.

I don't think you know what hearsay means, but regardless you keep missing the point. The fact of the matter is that Jesus Christ rose from the dead. Everything hinges on that point and is only explainable if it is true. Whatever embellishments or changes you think people have made - like your famous Jewish saints rising from their graves - does not change the fundamental truth of the Resurrection.

It means exactly what I meant it to mean:

hear·say
ˈhirˌsā/
noun
noun: hearsay

information received from other people that one cannot adequately substantiate; rumor.

It's what the entire story of Jesus is,
hearsay. When you read the gospels,
none of the authors were at the scene.
It's total hearsay, info they heard from
someone else. Absolutely not admissible
in any court for obvious reasons.

Did anyone actually see Jesus rise from the dead?

No one saw John Sheridan do so, either.

Not in the NT. They heard later that he
was alive and hanging out on the
corner. Of course anybody who actually
saw this didn't write it down, why would
they. 97% of them were illiterate. From
total lack of evidence, you would have to
be pretty naive to believe it really happened.

You mean the stone being rolled away and the actual moment of Resurrection, no. However many people saw the Risen Lord after that event.

Yes you would. Do you think everyone during that time was pretty naïve? People took the stuff of Messiahs deadly serious, just ask Jesus. People weren't just going to say, "Oh, Jesus is Resurrected. Okay then let's start Christianity." No it was the preaching of the eyewitnesses of His Resurrection that led to many people like Paul and others all the way up to today having a real personal experience of the love of the Risen Lord Jesus. They may not have been eyewitnesses to the Resurrection but they were friends with the one who rose again.

Once he managed to convince them he was Jesús, you mean.

Do we know these people weren't conned by a clever Roman or Judean Ponzi?

In any case, there are like six different versions of events, which argues poorly on behalf of your notion.
