If there was a god who created
everything and was there in
the background even now,
wouldn't that kind of force be
measurable somehow? I mean
unless you're a believer god
has zero impact on your life?
That's kind of a thin argument,
it makes no sense.

It's interesting that there are 535
million Buddhists in the world
and they don't believe in a creator
god or a personal god. If god is
so obvious and reasonable and
logical as Xtianity claims, how
did it escape this huge religion
entirely. Are they clueless dopes?

Hardly. They felt no need to invent
a god, which is the only place god
exists, in peoples minds. Buddhism
began in India 2500 years ago. Simply
put, Buddhism believes you can
improve your life by cultivating wisdom
and virtue. No need to invent a god
and all the melodrama that goes with
it. Waste of time and energy.

Obviously this was gods plan for
this young man, I see no problem
with it. Never question gods plan
concerning Xtians.

Another of the many incongruities of the Catholic Church. Literally BILLIONS of dollars worth of art that is NOT EVEN ever displayed!

Few if any of the paintings on display in St. Peter’s Basilica are actually paintings. They are mosaic reproductions of the originals stored out of public view for safe keeping.

This is the mosaic reproduction of Raphael's 'The Transfiguration':

So many white people. Is there any
paintings in the Vatican that have
people of color in them? I don't
know, that's why I'm asking.

Christianity has existed in Ethiopia since the 1st Century AD and became the state religion in the 3rd century. Ethiopian paintings show black people and Saints.
