Three more days to the challenge attempt. At this time I'm planning to do a rambling route around Henderson, covering six of its bike trails.

Buzzard still feels guilty for busting Mike's bubble before the Stratosphere challenge. Just wanted to let him know it would be a lot of pro's entered, before he made any bets on his placement.

Anyway, this is a LOCK as far as I am concerned. Had I any money, it would be on Mike. Just wonder how long he could go without his feet
touching the ground on some sort of course. Maybe he will try that at 75, which Buzzard will be on May 16.

World record for feet not touching the ground 105.57 MILES.

Good Luck, Mike. Not that I think you'll need it. Will AAA fix a flat ? ? ?

Thanks for your vote of confidence in me Buzz! All systems are still go for Wednesday.

Weather forecast: 80 degrees, cloudy, 6 MPH wind.

I went for a short hill climbing ride today and I plan to take tomorrow off.

Regarding Buzz, I've made an exception to the usual policy of a ban on WoV = a ban here. As long as Buzz doesn't complain about events at WoV he is welcome on DT, subject to the other forum rules.

Good luck Wiz.
I never made it to Vegas, canceled at last minute. Hate to fly when under the weather.
I am so glad you are doing this on bike paths.
I ride a lot and hate to be near cars.
Go Wiz.

Thank you for the good wishes! All systems are still hesitantly go for tomorrow. I say "hesitantly" because there is a 20% chance of rain and scattered thunderstorms. I'm also supposed to be back for my kid's band concert in the evening.

My plan it to be on the unicycle by 7:00 AM. The starting point, the M casino, is a good 40 minute drive from my house, so I will set the alarm for 5:00 AM.

Today would have been the perfect to do it.

I was driving around Henderson this morning and crossed a few bike paths. Sadly, I didn't see you. I was going to offer Gatorade and encouragement.
