I'm in favor of guns, and in favor of gun control. Why do the two have to be mutually exclusive? The west was tamed when cowboys had to surrender their guns when entering town. If those hard headed, plain sense roughhands saw the common sense of that solution, why can't we? Why must it become a political football?

I think it's the definition of "common sense".

Cowpokes being forced to leave their shootin' irons tied to their horse would be similar to Chipotle's saying "Hey, pard', maybe leave the ARs at home". I certainly have no problem with that

But when Supreme Leader decrees that a gun of mine, one which has been used in 0.0002% of all gun crimes, is now verboten and I am now a felon for having one, then that is not common sense. It is sensationalism used for a power grab. It's lies which strip us of freedoms. It's a political football because the politicians have chosen to make it one.

And I've never fumbled a ball in my life.
Be bold and risk defeat, or be cautious and encourage it.

One victim's father slams politicians, NRA in emotional comments to media

Yep, it's starting already. My heart goes out to this guy and his family, but I'm getting sick and tired of gun control advocates using tragic events for political gain.

Does this guy even know that the killer STABBED three of his victims? If so, why isn't he advocating knife-control too????

EDIT: Apparently, a bunch of stupid women and dumb gay guys think that the killer is "cute". *facepalm*

In death, girls (and boys) swoon over Santa Barbara mass murderer

Here's his final YouTube video:

+100

Couldn't agree more.

Also, one of your previous posts inspired me. I shouldn't have to give up my right to defend myself just because I enter a place of business, so I now carry in casinos too. *thumbs up* ;)

It's ironic how liberals warned Republicans about using 4 dead Americans (in Benghazi) to further a political agenda, yet that's exactly what they're doing right now with 6 dead Americans.

Rep. Peter King Calls For Enhanced Gun Control Legislation In Wake Of California Rampage
Sen. Richard Blumenthal to renew gun control push after California shooting spree

Not only are gun control zealots hypocrites, but they also make no sense. Three of the victims were shot, and another three were stabbed. Knives and guns killed an equal number of people, yet libs have an unhealthy fixation on which weapon????? *facepalm*

Looking at the larger picture, you cannot reason with liberals. Many conservatives in this country still naively believe that having an airtight argument will automatically change their minds, but doesn't the evidence (such as above) prove that this isn't true at all???

EDIT: Every gun control zealot in America needs to read this key line from this article:
Quote:
Rodger passed the background check needed to buy the firearm used in the shooting, a law enforcement official briefed on the investigation told CNN. The official said nothing had been found in the gun trace to indicate Rodger should have been disqualified.
So the little background checks in the People's Republic of California did NOT work!

Rogers was an idiot. Can't stop a maniac ever and a maniac will make or find anything he needs. I'd have to see 10000 deaths like his murders before I'd ever consider blaming guns.

They have also said no gun sales within 500 feet of a school or park, whatever reason that is for.

Can you imagine the uproar if it was proposed "no abortion clinics within 500 feet of a school or park?"

The sad part is all of the LIV's who buy this crap.

I was reading a bunch of gun control articles earlier, and I was aghast at so many idiots who were saying that only the police and the military should have guns, NOT private citizens.

Are you kidding me??? They want the government to have guns, but nobody else??

DO THESE PEOPLE NOT READ HISTORY BOOKS????????????? *facepalm*

Yeah, let's just ditch the Second Amendment. They don't understand what its intention was/is anyway... **very loud and mournful groan**
