It'd be smarter politics for the NRA to just be silent on this particular issue. Even if they win this one, they still lose. It's the perfect propaganda to help out the gun control activists who get a great soundbyte: "See? These radical nuts want guns in bars and guns for the blind!" All it takes is for one drunk idiot to go on a shooting spree in a dark nightclub. Chaos, panic, blood. And guess who gets blamed? The NRA! |

You asked a question regarding the NRA's position on guns in bars, and I answered. With that said, you're right that it doesn't make them look good politically, but at this point the country is filled with a ton of gullible LIV's, and trying to appeal to them is useless. LOL indeed. The shooter kills someone, maybe a dad of children, loving husband, community person, and the shooter's responsibility is to what, go to prison for 25 years. Even the death penalty doesn't replace that life. LOL. |

Exactly. Like when the driver of an SUV kills somebody, on the news it's the SUV's fault, never the driver. "An SUV killed a family of 3 today." Same with a gun. It's always the guns fault. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

When the guy shot up the movie theatre awhile back, watching CNN and MSNBC, you would have thought the guns acted on their own. They talked about the gun or guns 10 times more than the shooter. It's like the shooter was just an accessory to the guns committing the crime. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |
