Lots of happy husbands after hearing that.

I am happy to see that. I wish almost all brick and mortor retial stores would go away. Online is just so much more efficticent.

Yes, much more efficient to realize you are out of shampoo and have some delivered in 5-7 business days than going out and buying some that same day.

Using that logic I guess you are hoping all the brick and mortar casinos disappear as well. We can all gamble on-line if we want.

Too broad a statement. Brick and mortar more efficient in many ways.

People like to see and touch what they are buying at BBB. If you only need 1-2 items it is way more efficient to pick them up than have them delivered. Smart retailers will survive, though we do not need the amount of retail space we had by the early 2000s.

I'm confused as to why you would wish that, though. I can understand brick & mortar not being your personal preference, but why the actual desire to see them disappear? Also, online + warehousing = fewer jobs than do actual stores.

I expect technology to take jobs anyway. I’m just wondering who will be right about new jobs being created when it does.

Few people correctly predict where "new jobs" come from. New jobs come as someone starts a new business, often of a type that did not exist when the prediction was made.

You may not be familiar but same day delivery is available by Amazon and Walmart for many items.

I think the more efficient the model is the lower the prices will be because of competition.
