Three gay men have tied the knot in Thailand

But if they really do love each other, then why not?

This is a couple of days old, and most of you have probably heard it, but some lawmaker in Illinois resigned after some sort of a spending scandal

One of the things was being reimbursed for 170,000 miles. The problem with that, apparently, is when he sold the vehicle, it only had 80,000 miles on it.

While I understand the continued reminder and trauma it represented, it's still somewhat hard to fathom that this house was destroyed and everything in it was destroyed valued at nothing, or perhaps less than nothing. Your average homeless Vegas panhandler could buy what it was worth to everyone around there.

A total waste, just like tearing down and rebuilding the school was not a smart idea. People in the USA need to be told to get over things and move on. This kind of request happens on large and small scale all over. Our population has become too sensitive. No need to tear down perfectly good buildings.

Greece found an angle on its financial crisis.

Quote:
Greece has offered a precise figure for what it claims Germany owes it from World War II: 279 billion euros, or $303 billion. That sum would also offset all of the debt Greece owes to European institutions – a debt that has Athens on the edge of crisis.

But when it comes to actually getting the money, many experts say Greece doesn't have a legal leg to stand on

Legs to stand on are not important to a Greek, his government or his country. Greece runs more on greased palms than legs.

Beware of Greeks bearing legs to stand on

LOL..

I knew one tourist who had mailed a package to himself and went to a Greek post office to pick it up. He could actually see and point to the package but the Greek mail man must have thought the tourist to be stupid since the tourist seems to have thought he could get his package without paying a fee.
