Wowza, two good SCOTUS rulings in one week, from this court? What is happening?

BREAKING: SUPREME COURT SAYS TRUMP'S CANCELLATION OF DACA WAS ILLEGAL

Trump loses long battle to ditch Barack Obama's program shielding Dreamers from deportation.

"To begin with, all nine Members of the Court accept, as do the DACA plaintiffs themselves, that the Executive Branch possesses the legal authority to rescind DACA and to resume pre-DACA enforcement of the immigration laws enacted by Congress."

--Justice Kavanaugh's dissenting opinion

This is a victory, but it does not seem like a broad one. The Executive Branch may rescind DACA; it was not done within the rules in a way the Court would accept. That means there is a way that would likely be accepted by the majority. Whether the administration does do something in a different way...well, who knows. Their stated position was to try and get it properly resolved, not to deport a bunch of folks.

The final remedy needs to come from our inoperative legislative branch. They can't even come to a consensus on what time lunch is served. Been that way for too long with different parties in power.

The best compromise would be they can stay but they can never be citizens or vote. Ever. Permanent residency only.

The best compromise is let the individual states handle it however they want to. They can be residents of a state, which may or may not confer all the same rights as citizens of the state, but then you have a different Federal standard for what makes a citizen.

Or, just open the borders already. Have to do away with virtually every Federal entitlement and program---as in, for everybody---first though.

States do not confer citizenship or right to residency in the USA.

Open the borders? Yeah, right.

D-bag GOP Rep. Matt Gaetz is now pretending to have a son.

Are we like two days from finding out this was actually his houseboy?

I'm surprised there is not a video of people checking out and walking down the ramp. If the ramp were near me,I would try to test it myself too see if difficult or easy. I have yet to encounter a ramp that's difficult. Is this one of the rare difficul ramps or is it Trump. Probably Trump
