You know that is a question without an answer. Depends what your endpoint is. I’ll make it simple. Half of current level, or double current level, is bad for life on our floating rock. As we know it. I lived CO2 my entire professional life. Google ‘end tidal CO2’. |

I would posit that the current flora and fauna would do just fine at an atmospheric CO2 level half our current level. I would also posit that *current* CO2 levels and CO2 levels above current levels are creating environmental and ecological conditions that are dangerous to humans and human habitation. With respect, I don't see the correlation between end tidal CO2 and atmospheric CO2 levels. Not my area of expertise. I lived drugs my entire professional life. And radioactivity. Especially radioactive drugs. |

Do you even know our current CO2 level? The media put "climate emergency" in the official stylebook a few years back because "climate change" was not scaring people enough. CO2 has gone up and down over time, planets like earth will regulate it back and forth. Has been for 4.5 billion years. Humans have not even been around for most of this time and will be gone again in 1000 years, probably far less than that. Turn off the news channels that are giving you stories that are to science what "People" magazine is to journalism. War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength |

You are correct. Essentially no correlation between atmospheric and end tidal CO2. My point is just that I dealt with CO2 levels for every OR case I had. As far as CO2 levels and effects on us, I leave that to the experts. And I’m not one of them. |

There's more cracked ice floating in it from warming. That's my guess. My example is: would you be feel colder in a swimming pool with one big block of ice at one end and you at the other end, or would you be colder if that ice was broken up and floating all over the pool.
