So also the title of Jesus, it appears.

The Persians take precedence.

Anyways, Xerxes I was a Persian king. Also fancied himself a god.

They all did, clear back to ancient Egypt and even some early Mesopotamian kingdoms. Even the Romans deified their dead emperors in good standing.

I saw that too. One fifth of the planet
thinks this is god's name and Mike
leaves it off the list. Pretty funny.

I always thought "The 9 Billion Names of God" was one of the best science/religion collaborative stories ever told. It's a short story by Arthur C. Clarke, written ~1960, in the infancy of computers; HERE'S an etext of it. It's a 5 minute read that brings up some of the same things we're talking about.
Never doubt a small group of concerned citizens can change the world; it's the only thing ever has

I did say Mohammad. Could we say that Mohammad is to Islam what Jesus is to Christianity?

You should ask a Muslim to explain, or someone who knows about Islam. But as I understand such things, your statement above couldn't be more wrong.

Not really.

Mohammad is known Muslims and Bahá'ís to be a messenger and prophet of God.

Christ ( Christós, meaning 'anointed') is a translation of the Hebrew מָשִׁיחַ (Māšîaḥ) is more than just a prophet. The Christian doctrine of the Trinity defines God as three divine persons or hypostases: the Father, the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit; "one God in three persons". The three persons are distinct, yet are one "substance, essence or nature".

Well, I was trying to get the basic idea that a name of Jesus is also a name of God according to most of Christianity.

According to this chart, there are two male, and two female symbols in the tetragrammaton. I know nothing about Hebrew so I cannot comment.

Why? His name wasn't Jesus till long after he
died. Nobody called him Jesus when he was
alive, that wasn't his name.
