Another story: In the 1st century a small group of men and women were disciples for three years during the public ministry of a Jewish man named Jesus. He spoke with such authority, challenged the religious leaders of the day, and performed miracles such that He was eventually put to death by crucifixion. Three days later He rose from the dead and appeared to His followers who were so moved and inspired that they spread the Good News that this man was indeed the incarnate God who came to save us from our sins and death. They were laughed at and driven from town to town and all of them besides one was eventually martyred for their belief in Jesus. 2,000 years later Christianity is the largest religion on earth and a prayerful relationship with Christ has proven to dramatically change the lives of those who believe. Because now experience and faith has proven the invisible to be true.

Prove it. Even your own pope
is quoted as saying it was a
spiritual rising, not a physical
one. The truth is, the only
thing that arose was urban
legend and myth.

When I read that article about the pope saying it was a spiritual rising and not a physical one, it made more sense.

It would be much easier on today's priests/ pastors etc. if they would quickly latch onto that and quit trying to defend the physical rising. If modern Jesus religions are going to succeed at all they need to develop more modern tactics, and quit defending those ancient claims that are silly now.

They need to move out of the
supernatural and superstitious
and into the spiritual. Quit
having Jesus being born to
a virgin, doing magic tricks,
and rising from the dead.
All that has been debunked
by science as an impossibility
because it goes against
unbreakable natural law. Even
if a god existed, he would have
to operate within the laws
of physics.

Since God who created the natural laws you speak of does exist, surely who could suspend them or break them when He wills. A bodily and glorious Resurrection is the much more resonable explination to the miracle of Christianity and its spreading influence. Think about the difference between some spiritual appearance and its effect versus Jesus as clearly relayed in the Gospels and preached by the Pope.

If life were a Marvel comic book,
where Superman can fly and see
thru walls and has super strength.
God is just a Biblical invented
superhero that can break the
laws of physics at will. And he's
every bit as real as Superman.

If god were real, he would be
ruled by the laws of physics
just like everything else is. That's
why science will never prove his
existence, or Superman's.

The pope has yet to deny he
said it was a spiritual rising.

"There is no clear denial, no demand that Scalfari correct his article or retract it, and no denial by the Pope himself. . . .Pope Francis apparently has yet to publicly upbraid Scalfari, correct the record, or ask that Scalfari’s articles be taken down."

Why is that. Parts of Xtionity
have believed in was a non
physical rising right from the
start.

Can you explain how you logically arrive at such a conclusion?

Because there isn't a scintilla of
evidence that anything exists
outside the laws of physics,
except in peoples imaginations.
And science doesn't use imagination,
it's uses provable facts.

Organized religion is just a bunch
of adults playing the game 'pretend'.
Lets pretend something is true, and
to us it will be. Like that grinning
nun on the cooking show, pretending.
She reminded me of the car dealer
salesperson who wins best of the
month every time. Friendliest
happiest guy you'll ever meet. It's
all an act to sell cars. That's the nun,
it's an act, a part she plays.

Does your imagination use provable facts? Where does it come from? What about the miracle of life itself? Are you not paying attention to your own atheist thread?

Also you said a universe that is created can't be random, why? You've also said many times that the universe follows unbreakable natural laws. Do you see that you might need to think about this a little more?
