It has an end, all you need to recognize is that there is such a thing as truth.

Sigh. Then NAME ONE. It better be one you can
back up with evidence, though. You can't
use 'god is real' or 'the NT is all true'.
That's your opinion, you have zero actual
evidence.

So first of all I am glad you seem to agree that your statement that all philosophical truth is only an opinion is your opinion.

Secondly, wouldn't you call it a philosophical truth that two contradictory statements cannot both be correct. For example if someone thinks there is no God and someone else says there is a God, then they both cannot be correct. That would seem to be an example of a philosophical truth.

Substitute Santa for god, why is that not
a PT? You know why. God is no different.

Substitute anything you like and the truth remains a truth. There cannot both be a Santa Clause and also not a Santa Clause. Or you cannot say that there is philosophical truth and also say that it is no philosophical truth. Isn't this an example of a philosophical truth?

I can't remember what we're arguing about.
You think there's truth when it can't be more
than opinion, I think. And I asked to see a
PT and you don't have one because you
can't have one. So now you're trying to
hide behind semantics, like you always
do. That about covers it,

You started it by claiming a philosophical truth, but in the same breath said that all philosophical truth is opinion. When I pointed out to you that you inadvertently contradicted yourself by claiming that a philosophical truth could prove that there was no such thing you asked me to produce just one PT. I then gave you the principal of non-contradiction, which states that two things that contradict each other cannot both be true. This is a simple philosophical truth and not an opinion. Now it is your turn to claim this is just word play or maybe you could actually admit you are wrong and recognize there is such a thing as philosophical truth.

No one's opinion is superior to anyone else's.
There is no hierarchy of truth or values. Anyone's
viewpoint is just as valid as anyone else's
viewpoint. We all have our own truth. This
is something you will never understand.

You are right, I will never understand that. Just to be clear then you think my view that there is a God who created all things, came to redeem us in the person of Jesus Christ, and continues to help and sanctify us by the Holy Spirit is true. It is just as valid and true as your belief in atheism? Your viewpoint that there is no God is not at all superior to my viewpoint?

'Atheism is usually defined incorrectly as a belief. Atheism is not a disbelief in gods or a denial of gods; it is a lack of belief in gods.'

Lack of belief is not a belief. Lack of
stamp collecting is not a another form
of stamp collecting. A lack of interest
in watching football every Sunday is
not not another form of being a
football fan. Quit putting god believers
in the same category as atheists. One
has nothing to do with the other.
