It is a good moral. All the evidence of an expanding universe leads us to the theory of the Big Bang and that this is how the universe began. To go further than that we have to turn to philosophy and logic and ask what caused the Big Bang? The answer while philosophically fuzzy, after all its not an exact science, tells us that this first cause, unmoved mover, foundation of all existence or otherwise known as God must be spiritual, without beginning or end, non-contingent, and all-powerful. You simply need these characteristics if there is going to be anything that exists. Again I am open to other options, thoughts, or ideas but have never heard anything that reasonably will provide any other possible answer. “It is with the smallest brushes that the artist paints the most exquisitely beautiful pictures.” ( |

Philosophical truth doesn't exist, how could it. Your sentence has no meaning. There is only philosophical opinion. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

This sounds suspiciously like a philosophical truth to me. “It is with the smallest brushes that the artist paints the most exquisitely beautiful pictures.” ( |

Have you noticed everything sounds like PT to you. It's because you want to believe it's a real thing, like you want to believe god is real. So you twist and turn everything to make it look like you have an advantage. It's impossible for you to be objective and that's an awful position for you to be in. It robs you of any chance of seeing things how they really are. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Please stop, take a deep breath and look at your statement, "All philosophical truth is opinion." I just wanted to point out, maybe in too snarky a way, that you are claiming a philosophical truth by saying that. I cannot take you seriously if your very statement is a rejection of what you propose. “It is with the smallest brushes that the artist paints the most exquisitely beautiful pictures.” ( |

Opinion is not truth, saying 'PT is opinion' is not a PT. It's opinion. You love to play these stupid games, does it really work with some people? You can't find god, you can't point him out, so you twist and turn your arguments hoping you'll somehow stumble onto god that way. You won't.. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Um...this has nothing to do with you finding God, this is just logic. So once again, just to clarify, according to YOU it is only YOUR opinion (that is Evenbob's) that philosophical truth is always an opinion. Am I correct in saying that? “It is with the smallest brushes that the artist paints the most exquisitely beautiful pictures.” ( |
