It is a good moral. All the evidence of an expanding universe leads us to the theory of the Big Bang and that this is how the universe began. To go further than that we have to turn to philosophy and logic and ask what caused the Big Bang? The answer while philosophically fuzzy, after all its not an exact science, tells us that this first cause, unmoved mover, foundation of all existence or otherwise known as God must be spiritual, without beginning or end, non-contingent, and all-powerful. You simply need these characteristics if there is going to be anything that exists. Again I am open to other options, thoughts, or ideas but have never heard anything that reasonably will provide any other possible answer.

Please stop, take a deep breath and look at your statement, "All philosophical truth is opinion." I just wanted to point out, maybe in too snarky a way, that you are claiming a philosophical truth by saying that. I cannot take you seriously if your very statement is a rejection of what you propose.

Um...this has nothing to do with you finding God, this is just logic.

So once again, just to clarify, according to YOU it is only YOUR opinion (that is Evenbob's) that philosophical truth is always an opinion. Am I correct in saying that?
