Or they realize thinking about religion seriously
is a waste of time.

All it does is convince you people have faulty
reasoning and no evidence for a god. That's
why it's a waste of time. I can do everything
religious people do with no god in my life.

No, as I have shown you 100x it is the atheist who has faulty reasoning and no evidence at all.

Something is happening with me. I think
I'm finally hitting nonsense overload. I
don't even care to respond to this ridiculous
post of yours, what's the point. I'm sure
you're a nice guy, but you're just a Church
robot. You have pre programmed responses
to every scenario and we've seen them all
over and over. If you had actual evidence
you would have presented it by now. Blah
blah blah..

No, I actually want evidence.

Preferably hard and measureable. But a theory with clear violations of natural law and hard predictions would do.

It shouldn't be that difficult to come by. Get some scientists involved regularly in exorcisms, for instance, or figure out a way to analyze what happens to the host within the body. Nothing to it but mustering the will (surely the church has the money).

This is another really great link and I promise to respond to it, but it is going to take some time.

I'm an atheist, but I have to wonder. If there
was a creator god, why does he have to want
to be worshiped and obeyed. Those sound
like very petty human traits, not godlike ones.
Suppose he was above all that, and just
created the universe because that's what he
does. He has no personal involvement because
he's too far above that kind of thing.

If there was a god, this makes far more sense
than a thousand different explanations, every
one of them revolving around human emotions
and none of them sounding like what any real
god would be about.

God does not have a need to be worshiped. God is perfect in every way. He wants what is best for us and knows the way to find true happiness and peace in this life and forever. That is what He really wants, our happiness.

But your god sure wants it and he wants
it bad. Ever read the 10 commandments?
Or any of the NT?

"The need to be worshiped is a lower level human ego mechanic. Human beings with that neurosis must eventually grow out of it. What real and lasting good can come from an organized system of self loathing based upon convictions of guilt and failure? Need for worship could never in a million years be a divine attribute.. All of this craziness about sin and sacrifice and suffering is a massive illusory strategy that programs followers using codes and emotional triggers... Religion preys upon human weakness. Without human convictions of separation, lack, loss and lowliness, religion would have no power to control anyone, as they would have nothing to attempt to offer."
