You mean you missed Ed Harris as Beethoven.

He always plays Ed Harris, this time
dressed as Beethoven. Can you find
where John Wayne played anybody
except himself? He won the award
for True Grit because he doubled
down on playing himself.

You never saw The Right Stuff? And you live here in Florida? I'm astonished. About the birth of the space race, and the Mercury program. Ed Harris was John Glenn, and he did a very good job of it.

I really liked him in Glengarry Glen Ross

I think in the HBO series, the cost was $10,000 per day, with the Ed Harris character being so wealthy he practically lives in Westworld now. Been there so long he's noticed patterns and puzzles that must be solved!

Season 2 starts April 22.

Given the nature of the show, both the $1000/day and $10000/day figures may have been stated.

He always plays Ed Harris, .

Ed Harris is the Whit Bissell
of his day. Remember Whit?
He was in hundreds of movies
and TV shows, always playing
himself flawlessly. From 1940
to 1984 he was never out of
work, 318 credits.

If forced, my favorite movie of all time is the Truman Show. Ed Harris was unforgettable as the "creator."

...Tyler Perry always sounded to me like the name of an author of women's romance novels and always sounded feminine...

It always reminds me of a 70’s rock band (Aerosmith/Journey).

He played the younger version of himself.
He played an irritated angry FBI agent in
The Firm. He often plays irritated angry
authority figures, it's in his bag of the 3
characters he plays, different versions
of Ed Harris.

I thought it would be a good joke to suggest King Kong the stage musical. But the jokes on me.

I don't get it. Do you like Ed Harris or not? First you mock him for having no range (playing himself every time), then praise John Wayne for also having no range. The good actors can do comedy, romance, action/thriller equally well. John Wayne did Westerns, that's it. That was himself.

Speaking of John Wayne, we recently laid a family member to rest at a nice cemetery in Newport Beach. Coincidentally, he is about 200 feet from John Wayne's grave. This picture was taken after the service.
