The fact that there has been 8 days of hammering regions that could oppose an invasion of the islands seems to imply there is more in the works than just bombing the shore area.

trump and hegseth probably believe that they can achieve 'victory' solely by chucking bombs and missiles at Iran without setting foot there. They may be right, but past precedent on their assumptions doesn't bode well.

Now more than ever Iran wants to build the bomb and use it on the USA and hey, who can blame them?

They have already been proven wrong. How many extension did this what was once promised to be a 2 week air online operation get extended?


If you want, regime change, nuclear material manual removal, and direct control of the straits, you need boots on the ground. They could keep air strikes going for the next 4 years and it won't matter.

Or they just give up on their plans... Which is ideal, but who knows.

Or they could simply use FAE's to level Tehran and the ports.

Drastic perhaps, but it would certainly rattle the Persian cage.

I remember thinking America would never elect a Black President. I was of course proven wrong. I don’t think it will happen, but if Buttigieg wins the Democrat nomination he would be a good bet to win the Presidency. Heck, Arizona elected Sinema!

I don't know, he is, but he is also "normal," IE he doesn't portray as gay. He really is a balance of having some different aspects while presenting a polished public persona.
