So, in latest news.... Iran has proposed a ceasefire and a plan to reopen Hormuz. We haven't seen the proposal.

And trump rejected it, with the only explanation being "They want to make a deal where they open the strait immediately because they’re losing so badly,”

Not "Their terms were unacceptable"
Not "We are considering it"

So my understanding is their terms are the literal MOU that Trump signed a few months ago and glazed it for being the best deal ever.... (It was a trash deal...)

It's funny that now Trump essentially admits his prior deal is trash after months of hearing how great it is. It is almost like he cares more about selling an idea than the idea itself...

That being said, Trump is a fool not to take it. If the straight re-opened this week, things would get at least a bit better by the midterms...

Saudis have had plenty of money to buy and build a formidable defense. Really no excuse that they need our help.
