Reports say he is going to give definitive update on how the 2020 election was stolen, in part due to foreign interference and that electronic voting machines are unreliable. Wouldn't be surprised if he then issues more EO to take more control of voting.

If there's a Red Sox game on, I'll probably watch that instead. Or find a movie on cable.

He continued: “But you know what? It was sort of a test, and they weren’t there. They didn’t honor the test.”

But, I fear he's out of fresh ideas and will adopt whatever hawkish move suggested to him by Hegseth.

There WILL be a punchline, if only to move the markets for the weekend, ready for him to Backtrack on Monday.

Simpleton, trump must surely be saying, 'We have the strongest military in the world, why can't we swat Iran like a bug' And he would have a point.
So, military escalation is my guess, over a tipping point from which there is no way back.

Unless Iran collapses at some point the one reasonable solution that will be the least stressful to the US is one that Trump isn't capable of.

Getting on his knees and apologizing to every NATO leader for all this shit he stirred up and convincing them to use combined power on Iran, at whatever level it takes along with anyone else that will help in the Middle East and elsewhere. It's the least costly solution.

Were you able to watch the vid in the page I linked to? He sounded like he was repeating a fairy tail that his advisors had sold him. Truly child-like in his wonderment. He's had phone calls from Kings and Emirs and all the people who we all love, who suggested to him that they'd rather just invest Billions..... Sounds like they collectively told him to pack up his ships and feck off, because 'You don't need the Straits. We don't need your navy escorts.' Saying the silent part out loud..... They offered to bribe him personally with some 'investments in America'. Yeah. Sure they did!

Now, a US retreat? 'Job done: We don't need the Strait: Our Middle East friends will be sending us some Billions in Trade deals'
