'The jury got it completely wrong': Alan Dershowitz on Trump verdict'

ROTFL
This is SOP for defense attorneys after a guilty verdict
We hear " the jury got it completely wrong" on courthouse steps after EVERY guilty verdict the media covers

Lied? The county does the assessment. EVERYBODY tries to lower their property taxes. That is just smart business. The county would have set a value and he is free to appeal. Heck I did that for my parent's house. No crime. Lawfare.

A New York jury found him guilty of all 34 charges in a scheme to illegally influence the 2016 election through a hush money payment to a porn actor who said the two had sex.

So many felonies, so many cases...

He paid off a tramp, big deal. C-BS tried to influence the 2004 election with a fake news story, then the 2024 election with a doctored news story. When they care about something important like that then let me know.

So much lawfare, so many cases.

And MOST (at least those who vote) Americans don’t consider it ANYTHING. Seems analogous to another ex President who got blown by an intern, a subordinate!, and lied under oath about it. I think he suffered no consequences as well…..

The more I read your post, the STUPIDER the charges seem! Tried to influence an election by paying off a porn star? Every lie he told, every lie Biden told….. were to try and influence an election!

He was disbarred, and because he was term limited, he allowed to fade into the background.

I’d say MOST Americans did not care about Clinton’s episode, and his disbarment is analogous to Trump’s convictions. It certainly didn’t stop Clinton from being a celebrity, and the Dems, TO THIS DAY, still use him on the campaign trail. You don’t think Trump will try and pick his successor? And will be welcomed by the Republican establishment?

I think Clinton/Trump are really a good analogy!

Proud to say I never voted for Bill Clinton or Trump
Clinton did balance the budget. I give him kudos for that. I expect the deficit to explode under Trump

Exactly, and it was against the law to do it.

Remember how he had Cohen falsely claim the hush money paid to Stormy was actually for his legal fees?

That is falsification of business records, a crime.

Then think back to the "Octorber surprise" that many think cost Hillary the election: Trump was afraid he'd lose once word of his perfidy got out.

Just a real slime ball, and now you've got him back...bwa ha ha ha

These next four years witll be hysterical...Matt Gaetz as AG?

Oh that is too funny!

Matt Gaetz as AG
ROTFL
What a clown show
Shows the country that it's all yes men approving any urge Trump has regardless of how absurd
I thought his chief of staff would be the adult in the room. Apparently not
Matt Gaetz just screams incompetence and unable to separate justice from politics. He will be totally corrupted by the power.

You taking the over or under 1/2 for number of Democrat Senators that vote to confirm Gaetz. I’ll take the under!

I’ll repeat myself. It may matter to you that Trump paid a porn star to keep his banging her a secret, but it did not to the vast majority of the American people. The 52% that voted for him, and a large swath of the 48% that didn’t have a variety of OTHER reasons they voted Harris.
