Not just that case; all the other cases are going to go "bye-bye" due to him pulling off an election victory.

There should be no special treatment for any American, be they the president-elect or an antifa rioter.

I can think of no similar or analogous situation in our history.

Not sure I care enough about Trump to truly "hate" him; I do find him despicable.

Jail to the Chief!

Then again there's Iranian mischief afoot...will "third time be the charm?"

Will the Secret Service be up to the task?

Stay tuned ...

Had a democratic judge ruled that in a non-jury trial I might give that argument some credence but alas I consign it to the slag heap.

You see, a JURY not a judge weighted the evidence and concluded he violated the law.

His lawyers had free reign to challenge jurors at jury selection.

This is how it's always been done....until now.

A sad day to realize that yes, this bozo really IS above the law.

Just because you say the same thing over and over does not make it true. He had a trial. Like all others accused of a crime who want one. He was convicted. Yes, he is a convicted felon. There is no magic time requirement for him to be sentenced in. No exact sentence that must be applied. How is he above the law? Because he wasn’t sentenced to jail time? Welcome to 90+ % of first time non violent offenders.

Please just admit that you just want him slammed harder than other similar felons…. because you just hate him.

Millions of Americans believe his prosecutions were totally politically motivated. That if he was just the jerk billionaire not running for President these cases are never brought to bear. Frankly, Letitia James is just looking to make her mark as a potential Democrat leader. Fani Willis as well in Georgia.

In retrospect, I truly believe these malicious prosecutions did not resonate well with the American people, and had a lot to do with Trump’s rout of Harris.

Were you also complaining about the political pursuit of Hunter Biden?

I have mixed feelings about Hunter. I’m not sure what he did was criminal. But certainly using his name to suck money from foreign countries with at least the implication that he was being influence peddled is bad for us. I really don’t know if he gets investigated/prosecuted if he isn’t the President’s son. If they go after JOE Biden after he is no longer President,, that would be analogous to the Dems going after Trump

If he was unethical, big deal
If he broke the law, he should be prosecuted
Politics is meaningless to me when the law is broken
Prosecute regardless if it's Trump or Hunter if it's determined by prosecutors that a law was broken
Nobody should be above the law

The lawfare conducted by Democrats in the various places is the mockery of our justice system. This is what left wingers do not get.
Thank you. Of course Mr. V et al never hear about this Lawfare thing

And they think Navalny is a very bad person because he got convicted ... Russian show trial, Russian Shmo trial! A felon is a felon!

Keep whining about "lawfare"

Which President since Nixon have they not looked to make a case for crime of some sort? The opposition looks for dirt. Crime is gold dirt.

Start wearing your big boy pants.

Personally, the idea that any of these guys go into office not at least worried than someone is looking for misdeeds is more scary than lawfare.

Obviously, not enough people were paying attention to George Santos since he slipped by.
