Probably some better titled thread to put this in but didn't see anything right off.

Quote:
Money is pouring into a deep-red House district in Tennessee ahead of an early December special election as the candidates and their super PAC backers ramp up spending.

Republican Matt Van Epps, a former state official, and Democratic state Rep. Aftyn Behn are in a heated ad war that has drawn notable outside groups from both parties into the 7th Congressional District, which President Donald Trump carried by 22 points in 2024.

Behn’s campaign raised more than $1 million from Oct. 1 to Nov. 12, according to a campaign finance filing Thursday. She spent a little more than half of that during the same period. Van Epps, meanwhile, raised about $591,000 and spent most of it, leaving him with $231,000 in the bank for the stretch run. Behn had about $522,000 on hand at the close of the fundraising period.

So, this is more of a might be a Democratic surprise then a sure thing? I don't know much about either candidate, other than what I'm reading.

A federal judge dismissed the criminal indictments against former FBI Director James Comey and New York Attorney General Letitia James after finding the prosecutor who brought the cases was not lawfully appointed.

Lol,
The judge quoted a handy precedent: "...The judge pointed to Trump’s classified documents case in explaining why dismissing the indictments was the proper remedy.
In that case, Judge Aileen Cannon dismissed the charges against Trump after finding Special Counsel Jack Smith was unlawfully appointed, in part because he too was not Senate confirmed."

The judge directed asked the DOJ lawyer about that decision and caught that lawyer totally off guard!

It is amazing that a totally unqualified attorney deemed it appropriate for her to seek an indictment via grand jury, given the fact she had ZERO criminal experience before being elevated via the patented Trump "Peter Principle."

There's egg on her face and egg McMuffin on the oaf's mug.

Idiots.

Let me see if I understand this correctly:

-Judge Aileen Cannon (a Trump appointee) dismissed the charges against Trump after finding Special Counsel Jack Smith was unlawfully appointed

-Judge Judge Tanya Chutkan ( a odumdum appointee) disagreed with Judge Cannon's conclusion that Smith's appointment was unlawful.

-Judge Cameron Currie (a Clinton appointee) found that Halligan was improperly appointed to her position

Makes one wonder is these decisions are based upon the law or politics.

Secret Society design of Washington DC:

George Washington was a Master.

You're either in it or not in it.

Obviously, Trump is not in it because he was convicted of a crime.

But certain types of folks are not allowed to join.

Aha...Masonry.

I'm a Mason, albeit inactive.

And yeah, we control the world.

Always have, always will.

Trump is our puppet.

So are you.

Kneel to your master, dog...
