Who in their right minds would want to be subject to ANY unchecked Democrat? The answer is obvious. Anyone who is a failure. Or who doesn’t want to put in the effort to succeed.

Wrong answer. Not a day goes by I wouldn't rather be living under a former Republican president including Nixon. (of modern Presidents) I think you've been snoozing the last 50 years.

I don't even consider Trump in the realm of acceptable at any level.

Biden needed to go and so did Nixon. And they went. Maybe not as soon as needed but they went .

So it's official.

43 days of govt. shutdown.

Not surprising because the root word of Democrat means "to divide" [same as demon's root word].

So naturally, the opposite is "to bring together".

Once again, Trump succeeds in bringing the country closer together [to become whole or sane].

But most of us know the Dems will do everything in their power "to divide", like a demon.

That's what they do.

I’m quoting a DG post because it makes sense. Except for the part about Trump bringing the country closer together. If he achieved world piece, cured cancer, eliminated the national debt, brought a Super Bowl win to Buffalo, almost all of the Democrats would be unhappy with the results. And you can go to the bank with that check.

World peace - Kill everyone - afterwards very peaceful.
Cured Cancer - RFK having everyone drink bleach
National Debt - Tariffs 1000%
Buffalo?
He's probably going to his bank with our checks

Peace in the Middle East is one thing. But the Bills winning a SB????
War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength

I read Mike Johnson is suddenly going to accelerate the vote to release the Epstein files.

Also, I don't know how smart Bobert is, as I've never heard any extended talking from her, but when they got her in the Oval Office and they asked her to bow out of voting yes, she must have asked "Why?" That must have been awkward.

Of course, Johnson could be accelerating the vote because he got her or someone else. You never know.

Anyone who does change their mind is going to be hounded by the press, and asked why. That will be awkward.

The only thing saving us from total crap, is Trump can’t immediately replace lower court justices.

Quote:
federal magistrate judge has ordered the Justice Department to turn over grand jury materials to former FBI Director James Comey as he fights criminal charges, pointing to possible government misconduct as reason to grant the unusual relief.

Judge William Fitzpatrick said that Comey’s right to due process outweighs the typical secrecy afforded to grand jury proceedings, directing prosecutors to hand over the materials by the end of Monday.

“The Court recognizes that the relief sought by the defense is rarely granted,” Fitzpatrick said. “However, the record points to a disturbing pattern of profound investigative missteps, missteps that led an FBI agent and a prosecutor to potentially undermine the integrity of the grand jury proceeding.”

Comey faces false statements and obstruction charges stemming from 2020 testimony he gave to Congress about leaks at the FBI. He has pleaded not guilty, and a trial is set for Jan. 5.

A federal appeals court rejected Donald Trump’s effort to revive a defamation lawsuit against CNN, concluding that he has not “adequately alleged” the falsity of the network’s references to his stolen 2020 election claims as “the Big Lie.”

The three-judge appellate panel upheld a lower court’s 2023 dismissal of the case.

Don’t embarrass our guest.

Quote:
President Donald Trump on Tuesday defended Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman over the killing of Washington Post opinion columnist Jamal Khashoggi, saying “things happen” and that he did not hold the Saudi leader responsible for the 2018 murder despite a U.S. intelligence report assessing the opposite.

Quote:
“A lot of people didn’t like that gentleman that you’re talking about. Whether you like him or didn’t like him, things happen, but [Mohammed] knew nothing about it,” Trump said in response to a question. “And we can leave it at that. You don’t have to embarrass our guest by asking a question like that.”

I actually just came here to comment and enlighten on this, I am a bit behind the curve.

This is one of the most disgraceful things I have seen Trump say (and that is saying a lot,) Khashoggi (who died in 2018, and was almost certainly killed by the Royal Family,) and was a U.S. legal resident. Trump immediately talks about him being unlikable and defends the Saudis... In what world was Jamal unlikable to anyone other than the Royal Family?

And, I would have to do some research, but if I recall, in 2018 (when he was also President,) Trump was very hesitant to condemn Saudi Arabia even in real time.

The family business stuff, don't care about, but supporting the assassination of a journalist is sick.
