Let's assume hypothetically that Comey is guilty as charged and committed all the offenses alleged. The DOJ handling on this case shows-front and center-that the process matters. The means matte. Proper procedures matter. Due process matters. It isn't that difficult for cops, federal agents and prosecutors, judges and juries to follow the law when arresting charging and putting someone on trial.
